LeafBug MWS Adapter

 LeafBug is an airsoft gas blowback speed loader adapter that attaches semi-permanently to the popular 6mmProShop 500 rd M4 Mag style speed loader. The tip press fits onto the aluminum nozzle of the plunger speed loader to provide a specialized interface for a gas blowback magazine and be solid enough for hassle-free field use. The system is intended to convert a 6mmProShop speed loader into a dedicated loader that you can use one-handed, without assembly, and without worry of losing the adapter in the thick of it.

One-Handed Use - no on-field assembly of adapter + speed loader, LeafBug stays firmly attached to the speed loader. Simply pull the speed loader as a single thing with one hand and load mags with your other hand.

Swiveling Design - the adapter tip can swivel on the nozzle to accommodate more mag-loading angles and positions. Crouched over packing mags in the corner? LeafBug's custom fit and swivel ensure positive engagement with mags in multiple orientations to allow for ergonomic loading behind cover.

Firm Connection - LeafBug is press fit onto the tip of the plunger speed loader and won't easily come off while in pouches or in use. Don't worry about losing the small adapter on the field. Simply focus on reloading to get back in the fight. The adapter piece isn't going anywhere.

Minimal Footprint - LeafBug adapters add 2 cm of added length to the overall dimensions of the 6mmProShop speed loader to keep the setup as close to M4 mag-sized as possible. Fit the assembly in regular pouches with minimal fuss during insertion and removal. Don't worry about a bulky adapter snagging on your gear or having to go in a separate pouch.

Assembly Instructions:
Firmly press the rounded aluminum tip of the 6mmProShop Speed Loader into the chamfered circle hole side of the LeafBug Adapter. Significant force is required to mate the two together as the connection is a friction-based press fit. The aluminum tip should be completely covered and the adapter should slightly cover the raised plastic circular part that holds the aluminum tip. For easier mechanical advantage, the adapter may be placed on a solid flat surface with the circle hole side faced up. The speed loader can be then pressed down onto the adapter with the aluminum tip inserted into the adapter.

Tools may be required to remove the LeafBug Adapter as the connection is intended to be semi-permanent (disassembly is possible without destruction to either part). Simply pull on the adapter along the axis of the aluminum tip to develop a gap between the adapter and the speed loader body. A non-marring disassembly wedge can then be used to pry apart the adapter from the aluminum tip to release the press fit.

Note the strength of the connection is intended to be quite robust to survive rougher field conditions which would separate a weaker connection. If you wish to use your 6mmProShop speed loader frequently without the adapter then we recommend getting a dedicated speed loader to convert with this adapter. The tradeoff of having a semi-permanent connection is the ability to use the adapter more easily on the field at a cost of flexibility with the base speed loader itself.

Why semi-permanent Press fit? - 6mmProShop Adapter is intended to be used on the field and to withstand the roughness of play. The adapter is intended to firmly stay on the nozzle of the 6mmProShop plunger speed loader and not come off while in pouches or when in use. This is intended to let the user quickly use the speed loader one-handed while aligning mags in the other hand (even with gloves on). The adapter is intended to be fixed to the speed loader to convert it into a dedicated speed loader for the given mag type.

What if my mag is not listed as compatible? - Our mission is to support the community and test our product with our target platform to ensure function. If your mag is not listed but your system is compatible with that platform then we might have just not tested your kind of mag yet. You can reach out and we advise your decision. We also plan on continually adding more supported platforms and mags to the StickBug line.
